GMA-7 star Rhian Ramos joins Solenn Heussaff as the new host of GMA News TV's lifestyle show Taste Buddies.
The announcement was made on Tuesday, June 14, at a press conference held at Rue Bourbon in Quezon City. Rhian will replace Iya Villania on the Kapuso show as the latter will be having her first baby with husband Drew Arellano.
Rhian's first episode as a host of the show will start airing on June 25.

Solenn was the first to welcome her new co-host through an Instagram post. Her caption: "Let us all welcome our new Taste Buddies host @whianwamos ! #TasteBuddies @tastebuddiesnewstv."
In an interview with GMAnetwork.com, Solenn said she's happy to have Rhian as her new "Taste Buddy."
She said about her partner, "Si Rhian naman she's adventurous. She eats anything din, tapos sporty tapos may kalog side din. May competitive na side pa rin, so it's gonna be a fun journey."
Meanwhile, Rhian expressed her excitement on working with Solenn for a TV show. She said, "Solenn has always owned the show. Of course, the name of the show is Taste Buddies, you can't have one buddy. So yeah, I'm the next one. Lucky me!"
