GMA-7 actress Heart Evangelista took a trip down memory lane when she posted on her Instagram account a picture during her days as an ABS-CBN talent.
The picture showed Kapamilya artists during that time wearing white and doing poses for a drama series.
The said photo was taken in 2003 for a station ID during ABS-CBN's celebration of its 50th year.
The station ID included the love team of Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz, Judy Ann Santos, Robin Padilla, Ian Veneracion, Angelica Panganiban, the famous duo of Eula Valdes and Jean Garcia, and Charo Santos-Concio.
At that time, Heart was part of the teen-oriented show G-Mik where she was paired with ex-boyfriend John Prats.
It is also on that show where she started her showbiz career, portraying the role of Missy.
In her caption, Heart also mentioned that this is her 18th year in show business.
Heart wrote, "Turning 18 years in showbiz. Come to think of it... I was always conscious about being 'maarte' or 'Kikay' but it was because I was myself I got my first ever role as 'Missy' #gmik #grateful."
After G-Mik, Heart topbilled its successor, Berks, where she was also paired with John.
In 2004, Heart ventured into doing teleseryes when she was included in the cast of Hiram as Margaret. In this series, she co-starred with Dina Bonnevie, Anne Curtis, Geoff Eigenmann, and Kris Aquino.
She was also able to do a string of soap operas on ABS-CBN, mainly: Ang Panday, Hiram na Mukha, and her last Kapamilya project Pangarap na Bituin.
Heart was also able to do several episodes of Tara Tena, Your Song, and Maalaala Mo Kaya.
Aside from that, Heart became a VJ of ABS-CBN's music channel MYX.
In 2008, she transferred to GMA Network and was able to showcase her acting chops in several primetime and afternoon shows.
These projects included Codename: Asero (2008), Luna Mystika (2008), Ngayon at Kailanman (2009), Full House (2009), Langit sa Piling Mo (2010), Dwarfina (2011), Legacy (2012), Luna Blanca (2012), Forever (2013), Magkano Ba Ang Pag-ibig (2013), and Beautiful Strangers (2015).
She also hosted shows such as Fashionistas By Heart and Startalk.
Currently, she is finishing the series Juan Happy Love Story where she is paired with Dennis Trillo. The primetime teleserye is now down to its last two weeks.
