After sharing his heartwarming story on Wowowin last August as a contestant, stand-up comedian Super Tekla is now a regular co-host of GMA-7's variety-game show.
Willie revealed the good news in the September 24 episode of Wowowin wherein Super Tekla was one of the guests.
After Super Tekla had an exchange of funny tirades with other comedians, Willie asked the audience, "Kung si Tekla ba kukunin ko dito sa show araw-araw, okay ba sa inyo?" The audience cheered loudly for him.
A teary-eyed Tekla then turned to the audience and said, "Thank you, thank you po, napakasarap po sa pakiramdam. Kahapon nagbukas po ako ng YouTube, and then I saw nasa 2 million views yung unang guesting ko dito..."
He stopped as tears fell from his eyes.
He continued, "Thank you so much for giving me the chance to perform again.
"Kuya Wil, ayoko kasi umiyak, e!
"I love you guys, thank you so much, I will do my best para mapasaya kayo. 'Yan yung misyon ko siguro kung bakit nag-survive pa rin despite...
"Hanggang nakakatawa, gagawin ko po yung part ko."
Tekla then received cheers from the Wowowin audience.
Last Sunday, October 2, Tekla's story was featured on GMA's magazine show Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho (KMJS).
Born Romeo Librada, he hails from North Cotabato, Mindanao.
He revealed during his first guesting in Wowowin and on Sunday's episode of KMJS that he was once married but got separated from his wife, with whom he had a daughter.
Tekla wishes to reunite with his daughter. He is also open to reconciliation with his estranged wife, who is currently an OFW in Saudi Arabia.
