ABS-CBN actor Jake Cuenca passes on his former role in Encantadia as Kahlil to Starstruck 6 graduate Avery Paraiso.

This started when a netizen asked Jake on Twitter what he thinks about the new actor playing his character in the 2016 version of the epic telefantasya.

Jake answered, "I have to watch em... Let's see tomorrow..."

After a while, Jake sent a tweet to Avery wishing him luck for his new role.

The 28-year-old actor told his successor, "@AveryParaiso hoping the role of "Kahlil" brings you as much success as it did for me back then. #encantadia #EncantadiaPakikipaglaban"

Avery then replied to him, "Thank you! It means a lot coming from you."

It can be recalled that before transferring to the Kapamilya network, one of Jake's earliest projects was with GMA-7's epic telefantasya. His character Kahlil was the son of Alena (Karylle) and Ybarro (Dingdong Dantes).

Meanwhile, Avery has already been hosting Encantadia's online show Encantadia Sessions before bagging the role of Kahlil.
