The Triplets singing trio composed of Tina Paner, Sheryl Cruz, and Manilyn Reynes reunite for GMA-7's Meant To Be. They will join Barbie Forteza in this upcoming teleserye.

Manilyn Reynes, Sheryl Cruz, and Tina Paner—who are known as Pinoy showbiz's Triplets—are reuniting for a new drama series on GMA-7!

They are included in Barbie Forteza's upcoming primetime teleserye Meant To Be.

This was announced during the teleserye's story conference last November 22.

Tina, Sheryl, and Manilyn were all products of That's Entertainment. In the said variety show hosted by the late German "Kuya Germs" Moreno, the Triplets trio was formed.

Meant To Be also serves as a reunion for Manilyn and ex-boyfriend Keempee de Leon, who also became a love team during their stint in That's Entertainment.

In the photos, it seemed like Manilyn and Keempee will be the parents of Barbie, while Sef Cadayona will play Barbie's elder brother.

Keempee and Manilyn were also tapped to play a married couple in the 2014 series Once Upon A Kiss. However, Keempee's character was killed during the pilot episode.

It was announced last Monday, November 21, that Barbie will have four leading men in the series: Ken Chan, Jak Roberto and new GMA talents Addy Raj and Ivan Dorschner.

Meant to Be also serves as new Kapuso Mika Dela Cruz's first teleserye on GMA.

In a synopsis published on, it was revealed that Barbie plays Billie, a typical millennial who faces a lot of issues in life – including family and financial problems while trying to pursue her dream as a newscaster.

She will meet four boys with different nationalities: Ethan (Ivan), Jai (Addy), Macoy (Jak), and Yuan (Ken).

This upcoming series is tentatively scheduled to air by January 2017 on GMA Primetime's third slot.

Meant to Be is helmed by director LA Madridejos, who also directs Tsuperhero starring Barbie's former onscreen partner, Derrick Monasterio.
