Maja Salvador gets new leading men for her upcoming TV drama series Wildflower: Joseph Marco and Vin Abrenica.
In the first trailer shown during the trade launch last November, Joseph was already shown when his character ran after Maja and hugged her in the rain.
The teleserye's official Instagram account @wildflowerabscbn posted a picture of Maja and Joseph from the trailer. The caption indicated "Diego and Ivy," referring to the names of their characters.
During the cast and staff members's bonding day last December 2, Joseph posed for a photo with new Kapamilya Vin Abrenica.
Last June, it was announced that Vin's first teleserye in ABS-CBN was supposedly The Second Wife, starring Bea Alonzo, Ian Veneracion, and Iza Calzado.
For the said series, which is now titled A Love To Last, he was supposed to figure in a love triangle with Julia Barretto and Enchong Dee.
However, it seems like Vin had to prioritize this new TV series as the other leading man of Maja.
It has yet to be revealed, though, what role will Vin play in the series since he was not seen in the first trailer.
Also present during the cast and staff bonding were other cast members Priscilla Meirelles, Aiko Melendez, Sunshine Cruz, and Wendell Ramos.
Meanwhile, Maja graced the story presentation of Wildflower last November 14.
This marks the first time that Maja will do a TV series with the RSB Drama Unit, helmed by Business Unit Head Ruel Santos Bayani.
Wildflower, which has the tagline "Revenge has never been this wild," started taping last December 5.
It was recently announced that RK Bagatsing will also be part of this new Kapamilya series.
No announcement has been made yet regarding its timeslot, but it is scheduled to air on ABS-CBN this 2017.
Based on its trailer, Wildflower tells the story of Lily (Maja), a woman who experienced hardships under the hands of the Ardientes, led by the character played by Tirso Cruz III.
She will then transform into Ivy, with the aim of exacting revenge against the people who wronged her and her family.
