Yassi Pressman is now officially a Kapamilya.
The 21-year-old dancer-actress inked an exclusive two-year contract with ABS-CBN earlier today, February 23.
Present during her contract signing were ABS-CBN executives Cat Lopez, Cory Vidanes, ABS-CBN President Carlo Katigbak, VIVA Artists Agency President Veronique del Rosario-Corpus, and ABS-CBN TV Production head Lauren Dyogi.
The VIVA artist currently appears in the Kapamilya primetime series FPJ's Ang Probinsyano, where she plays the love interest of Coco Martin.
Yassi has been a freelance artist since she began her career in 2006, as the younger version of Kristine Hermosa's character Luisa in ABS-CBN's drama Gulong ng Palad.
She resumed her career with GMA Network in 2009 and became a performer in the defunct noontime musical-variety show SOP.
Yassi was part of the shows Party Pilipinas (2010) and Ilumina (2010) until she scored a major role in the youth-oriented series Tween Hearts in 2011.
She continued to do supporting roles in the shows Time of My Life (2011), Luna Blanca (2012), Cielo de Angelina (2012), Home Sweet Home (2013), and Dormitoryo (2013).
In 2013, Yassi inked a management contract with VIVA Artists Agency. She then starred in the hit movie Diary ng Panget in 2014, along with Nadine Lustre, James Reid, and onscreen partner Andre Paras.
In 2015, Yassi starred in several installments of TV5's light drama anthology Wattpad Presents.
In 2016, Yassi hosted the VIVA-produced reality search Born To Be A Star along with Ogie Alcasid in TV5.
Later that year, she surprised everyone when she joined Pinoy Big Brother Lucky 7. When she left the house, Yassi became Coco's new leading lady in FPJ's Ang Probinsyano.
