Lorna Tolentino returns to ABS-CBN after five years for Victims of Love

Grand Slam actress Lorna Tolentino returns to ABS-CBN after five years!

She is part of the cast of the new Kapamilya teleserye Victims of Love starring Angelica Panganiban, Julia Montes, JC Santos, and Paulo Avelino.

Lorna attended the story conference of the series earlier today, March 15.

Cherry Pie Picache is also part of the cast.

Coincidentally, Cherry Pie and Paulo are also part of the upcoming teleserye The Promise of Forever.

Victims of Love is produced by Dreamscape Entertainment, the drama unit headed by Deo Endrinal.

Deo also produced Lorna's last teleserye with ABS-CBN in 2011, the Coco Martin-starrer Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin.

It was in 2002 when Lorna first signed up with the Kapamilya network to do a teleserye.

This teleserye was Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay, which starred Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz.

Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay is also the first local soap opera that was nominated in the Best Drama Series category of the International Emmy Awards.

Lorna then returned to GMA-7 and did a string of teleseryes for five years.

In 2008, she signed up again with the Kapamilya network.

Included in her contract was a teleserye with Gabby Concepcion, Kristine Hermosa, and Jericho Rosales titled Dahil May Isang Ikaw, which aired in 2009.

She was also able to do the early primetime series Momay with Xyriel Manabat and Ejay Falcon in 2010.

After finishing Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin in August 2011, Lorna transferred to TV5 to do the series Glamorosa with Alice Dixson.

In 2012, she returned to GMA-7 and did several teleseryes. Her last drama series was My Destiny aired in 2014.

Rumors that Lorna will be returning to ABS-CBN first circulated in December 2014 when she was cast in the Star Cinema movie Crazy Beautiful You starring Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.

While the movie project materialized, Lorna did not do any teleserye on ABS-CBN. Instead, she was cast in TV5's sitcom Misterless Misis, which aired for only two episodes.
