Kylie Padilla admits that she has not yet moved on from leaving Encantadia. In a blog post she wrote last March 25, the actress reveals what could have happened in the GMA-7 telefantasya: "I still wanted to see Amihan marry Ybrahim."

Kylie Padilla admitted that she still feels emotional everytime she thinks of Amihan, her character in Encantadia.

In the third part of her blog entry titled The Blue One, which she published last March 25, she revealed how the production staff of the show tried to help her cover up her pregnancy in the telefantasya, especially during fight scenes.

She wrote, "The thought of leaving the show still makes me teary eyed until this day.

"The entire team thought of so many ways to cheat through the pregnancy, like not shooting me from the chest down so as not to expose my growing stomach.

"Or having Amihan swear off of ever holding a sword again after her sister Alena dies, so as not to do anymore fight scenes that might harm the child."

Unfortunately, it reached the point when Kylie had to leave the GMA-7 show.

"And after many many meetings, it was finally decided for Amihan to make the biggest sacrifice that would eventually cost her life.

"I was heartbroken that it had to result in her death. It is still painful. I still wanted to see Amihan marry Ybrahim. There was so much more to be excited about.

"But it was a decision that had to be made and I knew I had to make it."

"This was coincidently happening while we were shooting an inevitable eclipse in the story, a beloved sanggre was indeed meant to die.

"Tables turned, reality set in and we waited within the same week for script revisions.

"Amihan’s death was closer than anyone thought. *sniff sniff* sorry, I’m getting emotional again…"

Kylie recalled how her situation can be compared to the fate of Amihan.

At that time, Amihan had to sacrifice herself for the greater good. She needed to die to be an ivtre and save everyone in Encantadia.

She continued, "Amihan taught me so much and she would now teach me what sacrifice FELT like. Leaving the show was a big sacrifice.

"But somehow performing her death was cathartic… She was saying goodbye and I was too.

"We united as one for a moment and I will always be thankful because it was so beautifully written. Amihan died a beautiful death."

At this point, the 24-year-old actress issued an apology to the staff and fans of Encantadia.

Her letter reads: "I want to express my most sincere apologies to everyone for everything that happened because of this.

"I know many people were disappointed. I promise to make it up to you after my kid is strong enough to carry himself.

"Sorry to the whole team and the followers of Encantadia. I know how much you love Amihan and the show, I know how much you wanted to see more of her. I know because I too feel the same.

"To the Encantadia cast and crew, I appreciate so much the care you took in those last couple taping days.

"Thank you for everything you did for me and what you continue to do for Amihan’s character on the show. We, all Amihan admirers want to see her happy."

After her apology letter, she then wrote how she became so attached to the Amihan character that it became hard for her to let go until today.

This is despite her revelation in the first part of her blog post that she originally wanted to portray Pirena. Kylie recalled that she almost turned down the role in Encantadia since she was exhausted because of her previous project.

She admitted, "Even though taping is done and it has been about 2 months since I stopped working on Encantadia, I still have not moved on from everything, yet.

"I know right, you’re probably saying “geez move on already. we have.” LOL Joke.

"But seriously I have terrible separation anxiety towards Amihan. As you can probably tell, she was actually more than just a character to me."

Kylie then pointed out what Amihan taught her as a person, especially since she will soon become a mother.

"But someone although fictional, someone who taught me something I needed to learn. But most of all something I needed to understand.

"She taught me to be selfless. She taught me courage. And after everything that’s happened, she taught me to be proud that I did, despite the circumstances, make the right choice as a mother.

"This is why I chose to write this 3 part letter. I am and will always be so thankful that I got to know her on a more personal level.

"It was truly an honour to have been invited to be a part of Encantadia. It will not only be just another show I worked on but one that transformed me personally.

"Avisala Eshma Encantadia! and Avisala Eshma Amihan! for all that you have taught me.

"Especially those unforgetful [sic] days when I was holding that pregnancy test in one hand and the script in the other. And you speaking through the script to me. I WILL NEVER FORGET THAT.

"I will forever remember our journey together Amihan. I’ll be sure to tell my son/daughter this story.

"E corrie diu, Amihan.

"p.s. I hope someday I get to walk in your shoes again. And I hope then, our goodbye won’t be so abrupt."

In the current storyline of Encantadia, Amihan reincarnated through the character named Ariana, played by StarStruck VI alumna Arra San Agustin. Arra is now considered the new "tagapangalagga" of the air gem.
