For the first time, ABS-CBN aired a teen edition of The Voice of the Philippines.
Lea Salonga, Bamboo Mañalac and Sharon Cuneta returned to the show as coaches for The Voice Teens. They were joined by Sarah Geronimo who went on a hiatus during the previous edition.
All four coaches of The Voice Teens got a representative each in the pilot episode of the reality singing competition.
There were two four-turners featured in the April 16 episode of The Voice Teens.
Mikko Estrada from Parañaque serenaded audiences with his version of "Dahil Sa 'Yo." The 15-year-old aspiring singer was torn since all the coaches wanted him on their team and showed what they could offer him.
Lea brought out the trophies of Mitoy Yonting (The Voice Season 1 winner) and Joshua Oliveros (The Voice Kids Season 3 winner).
Meanwhile, Sharon pointed out that Antonetthe Tismo was her representative in last season's runner up and was only a fraction away from Joshua's final score.
Mikko chose to be on Team Sarah and admitted he had a crush on the Popstar Princess.
Isabela Vinzon, the daughter of GMA-7 actor Roi Vinzon, tried her luck on the show. She performed "Feeling Good" and in her interview, she admitted that she wants to be seen on TV but as a singer. She chose to be with Team Bamboo.
Neil Patrick Corporal was another four-chair turner when he performed "Fly Me to the Moon." The young boy hails from the Lapid clan, the owners of the popular chicharon brand. He is now part of FamiLEA.
Zyra Peralta shed tears when she sang "Pangarap na Bituin" and Sharon Cuneta turned her red chair. The young girl revealed that her adoptive mother is diagnosed with colon cancer.
