Anne Curtis screams upon seeing Goblin actor Gong Yoo

ABS-CBN actress Anne Curtis flew all the way to Hong Kong to see Korean actor Gong Yoo during his Make A Wish fan meet at Asia-World Expo.


ABS-CBN actress Anne Curtis-Smith checks off another achievement on her fangirl bucketlist.

The 32-year-old Viva talent flew all the way to Hong Kong to see Korean actor Gong Yoo at his fan-meet in Asia-World Expo last May 6.

Anne uploaded her fan vid on Instagram and expressed how excited she was to finally see her biggest K-drama idol in real life.

She wrote, "#DreamsDoComeTrue ?? #GongYoo Kamsahamnida! I couldn't understand much but your smile and energy was contagious!

"To all my fellow fan girls out there I am wishing with all my heart #MakeAWishInThePhilippines happens so you may experience what I got to see tonight!

"Such a charming gentleman! Never had I imagined I'd get to see him THIS close. From being a fan that was just watching his series and movies to THIS.

"Sobrang Happy at Sobrang KILIG! As in. Ito na siguro yung todo na ng pagkafangirl ko. I definitely got more than what I wished for!

Anne's It's Showtime co-host Kim Atienza also attended the event as a member of the press.

He was able to record a video of Anne unleashing her fangirl side, which he posted on Instagram.


The Matanglawin host got a close encounter with the actor and was able to snap a selfie with him.


Kuya Kim also took the opportunity to get an autograph sign that he gave to Anne.

Anne posted it on Instagram and wrote: "#weekANNEdWithGongYoo starts now. Hindi man ako naka pag selfie or interview like Kuya Kim..

Anne also congratulated Gong Yoo for winning the Best Drama Actor at the 2017 Baeksang Arts Awards.

The Kapamilya star wrote on Instagram, "Congratulations my oppa #GongYoo for winning Best Drama Actor for Goblin at the #BaeksangArtsAwards2017

"Well deserved! You are a brilliant actor and I admire you and your work very much! You have gained a loyal fan in me ahjussi!..

Gong Yoo is known for his performances in the hit Korean drama The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince and the zombie movie Train To Busan.

His most recent K-drama Goblin (which Anne is currently obsessing over) will start airing on ABS-CBN this Monday, May 8.
