Janine Gutierrez's afternoon teleserye Legally Blind aired its final episode last Friday, June 30, after 19 weeks of airing.
Viewers witnessed how her character Grace Evangelista struggled to find justice after she got raped, became blind, and how her vision was eventually restored.
In the last episode, Grace finally got justice when her rapist William (Marc Abaya) was arrested. He eventually had mental problems and was confined to a mental institution.
Grace also married her long-time boyfriend Edward (Mikael Daez) after a series of delays.
However, she felt that there was something missing in her life even if justice was already served.
Grace later on realized that she had to let go and forgive everyone who wronged her.
She also returned to her profession as a lawyer and continued her advocacies in fighting women abuse.
Years later, Grace had a beautiful daughter whom she taught good values in life and led a happy life with her family.
