Sarah Geronimo admits lack of time for rehearsals led to her fall during her birthday number on the July 23 episode of ASAP.

Sarah Geronimo admitted that lack of rehearsals and sleep led to her fall on the ASAP stage last Sunday, July 23.

For her birthday number, the Popstar Princess performed a mash-up of Bebe Rexha's "The Way I Are," DJ Khaled and Rihanna's "Wild Thoughts," and Little Mix's "Power."

During the performance, Sarah was wearing a big pink fur coat and high heels.

Unfortunately, while dancing, she lost her balance and ended up lying on the floor.

According to Sarah, she did not have enough time to thoroughly rehearse her number because of her tight schedule.

She reasoned out, "Kasi nag da-The Voice ako, nagda-dub ako for the movie, at kung anu-ano pa.

"So medyo kulang ng tulog, kulang ng preparation for the birthday prod pero ginusto ko talagang gawin yun dahil siyempre, mahal ko talaga ang pagpeperform.

"Pero natutunan ko na dapat hindi kino-compromise yun, e. Meron talagang enough time to prepare.

"Yun, medyo nagkulang sa balance at mabigat din yung fur coat kasi hindi rin na rehearse at kulang ng tulog."

Sarah then smiled when she learned that netizens lauded her for handling the mishap with professionalism and finesse.

The singer-actress added, "Actually hindi yun ang first time na nahulog ako sa stage o nadapa, e.

"So okay na yun sa akin, bawi na lang next time." (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and select reporters spoke to Sarah at the after party of Finally Found Someone premiere night yesterday, July 24, at Misto Restaurant, Seda Hotel in Vertis North.

Sarah celebrates her birthday today, July 25.

THE VOICE TEENS. Last July 23, Sarah, along with the other coaches Sharon Cuneta, Lea Salonga, and Bamboo Manalac, have already chosen their finalist that will be part of The Voice Teens's top four finalists.

While Sarah wished that the first The Voice Teens champion will come from her team, she believes that all the teen artists deserve to win in ABS-CBN's reality talent search.

She gushed, "Very excited, ang gagaling ng mga teen artists!

"Siyempre I'm for Team Sarah, gusto ko na sa akin manggaling yung magiging first grand champion ng The Voice Teens.

"Pero kahit sino sa kanila talagang sobrang deserving so gusto ko silang i-congratulate in advance."

The finals of The Voice Teens will happen this weekend, July 29-30, 2017.

After The Voice Teens, Sarah said that she might do another movie with VIVA Films. However, there are no details yet about the film.
