After the Wildest Wedding of Maja Salvador's character Ivy Aguas in Wildflower, several memes were posted online by fans.
A photo that became viral online shows Maja wearing slippers underneath her black wedding gown.
During the August 21 episode of Tonight With Boy Abunda, the lead actress of Wildflower explained why she was wearing a pair of slippers in the photo.
When TV host Boy Abunda asked Maja about the picture shown on screen, she burst into laughter.
She pointed out, "Yan, acting na... So, pwede po ba ako tumayo? Kailangan kong ipaglaban ito, e."
Maja went to the screen and explained what happened in the photo.
"So kung makikita niyo po, nilabas po yata ng ABS-CBN, sa Facebook ng ABS-CBN.
"ito yung cameraman tapos ito yung slippers ko nga po tapos yun yung watermark ng ABS-CBN.
"So hindi siya parte po talaga ng eksena."
The 28-year-old actress said that they usually wears slippers during rehearsals.
She explained, "Ang nangyayari po kasi tuwing rehearsals naman, naka-tsinelas kami kasi kung hindi, mapapagod po talaga kami.
"Pero pag take na, kailangan talaga nakasapatos so hindi po siya lumabas talaga nung inere."
Maja also uploaded the photo on her Instagram stories wherein she first explained what happened in the photo.
REACTION TO MEMES. When it comes to memes, the Kapamilya actress said she doesn't get offended.
In fact, she admitted, "Tawang tawa ako!"
She even told co-star Aiko Melendez, "Parang kulang na lang maging cartoon characters tayo. Pa series na nga po yata, baka maging comics na!"
