Roxanne Barcelo admitted that she got hurt after Maja Salvador slapped her in a scene for Wildflower. She said, "Nagta-throb yung left cheek ko, hindi ko yun malilimutan!"

Roxanne Barcelo admitted she got hurt after a confrontation scene with Maja Salvador for Wildflower.

However, Roxanne exclaimed, "Fault ko talaga!"

In the scene, Roxanne's character Nathalie pulled the hair of Maja's Ivy, which is why the latter slapped her.

"First sampalan namin yun, e, so sabi niya, 'Baks, malakas akong manampal.'

"Sabi ko, 'Baks, it's okay!' So fault ko talaga siya! Hahaha!"

What happened after the scene?

All or nothing."

Ruel Bayani is the business unit head of Wildflower who also directs movies and TV projects.

Back in 2002, Roxanne worked with Direk Ruel in the GMA-7 weekly series Kahit Kailan, where she played the lead role in its first season.

In the pilot episode of Kahit Kailan, Roxanne's character Eden was abused by her elder sister Tuding, portrayed by Jan Marini Alano, to the point that Tuding pushed her face on the floor.

"Tapos talagang pag-uwi ko, sabi ko, 'I love my job!'

Roxanne, who started her showbiz career through the youth-oriented series Click, feels fulfilled by the feedback she is receiving for her Nathalie role in Wildflower.

In fact, her confrontation scenes with Ivy and Emilia (Aiko Melendez) already became the subject of memes in social media.

"Lately, yung Tinder memes, tawang tawa talaga ako. Sobrang creative talaga ng audience ngayon. Ibang klase.

"I really feel na they play such a big part in making our scenes even more explosive dahil kapag nakikita na siyempre ng mga writers namin at saka production na yun yung reaction, then the more we want to level up, yung acting, yung story and yung execution."

Her character Nathalie has two love interests in the story: Arnaldo (RK Bagatsing) and Raul (Wendell Ramos).

Since both relationships failed, Roxanne teased that her character will soon find a new man in her life with a different situation.

She hinted, "At this point, she's really on the lookout for her next victim. So there will be a next victim for Nathalie.

So let's see who her next target is and if she will actually reign in the relationship or not."

Will she have more confrontation scenes with Maja?

The 32-year-old actress answered, "I haven't had scenes with Maja for a while after the three little witches scene.

"It's like we took a break again because my main target now is Emilia and Raul.

"Baka naman may pagsasanib pwersa na mangyayari. Baka!" she ended with a smile.

Aside from Wildflower, which airs Mondays to Fridays before TV Patrol, Roxanne is also busy promoting her upcoming movie I Found My Heart in Sta. Fe, her first film with real-life boyfriend Will Devaughn.
