Last September 4, a video went viral on social media about a character called "Kalad Karen," an impersonator of ABS-CBN journalist Karen Davila.
In a video posted by Miguel Tanchanco last Monday, September 4, Kalad Karen was seen describing their situation while crossing a river, in the same manner that Karen did during her The Correspondents days.
The Correspondents is ABS-CBN's defunct documentary show where Karen was one of the hosts.
The late-night program ran from 1998 to 2010.
Netizens were quick to notice the similarity between Karen and her impersonator's voice!

Some of Karen's Twitter followers tagged her in the video and asked for her reaction.
The Bandila anchorwoman acknowledged these tweets and said that the video made her miss the documentary program.
She told one netizen, "I saw this @rjamesbarrete! I miss The Correspondents"
Karen replied to another follower, "Thank you @makoy91 this was so cute!"
When ABS-CBN News asked Karen about the video, the veteran journalist said: "Absolute good vibes! Ang galing niya!! Made me miss The Correspondents! Congrats Kalad Karen!"
As of this writing, the video now has 735,812 views and more than 10,000 shares on Facebook.
Meanwhile, Miguel has said that they took this video while at work.
Miguel, the son of famous choreographer Geleen Eugenio and a former dancer at GMA-7's SOP, now works as director and dance choreographer at VIVA Entertainment.
On the other hand, Kalad Karen, or Jervi in real life, is a former writer of Eat Bulaga, according to Facebook.
