Ang TV cast members were reunited 20 years after their show ended its run for a special photo shoot: (L-R) Antoinette Taus, Lindsay Custodio, Jan Marini Pizzaras, Angelu de Leon, handler and director Leslie Lagdameo, Jolina Magdangal, Thou Reyes, Roselle Nava, Guila Alvarez, Gio Alvarez, and Victor Neri (not in photo).

For a very rare occasion, the teens of the '90s gag show Ang TV were seen together again after many years.

Ten of the original Ang TV cast members reunited for a special photo shoot at the ABS-CBN compound last Saturday, October 7.

The Ang TV graduates present in the shoot were: Jolina Magdangal, Angelu de Leon, Lindsay Custodio, Antoinette Taus, Guila Alvarez, Jan Marini Alano-Pizzaras, Thou Reyes, Victor Neri, and Gio Alvarez.

Among those who were present in the reunion shoot, Antoinette and Thou were the only ones who were part of Ang TV kids, while the rest were part of Ang TV teens.

This 2017 reunion coincided with the 25th anniversary of Ang TV since it was first aired on television in 1992.

In her Instagram account, Jan Marini reminisced how Ang TV paved the way for them to enter show business.

She wrote, "25 years ago, a very special television program paved the way for all of us to be recognized in the entertainment industry.

"It’s been 25 years, yet, it feels like only yesterday. Happy 25 years to us! #AngTV."

This was also the first time that Angelu was seen again in the ABS-CBN compound after being with GMA-7 since 2009.

She began her caption with the phrase Ang TV became famous for during its run: "4:30 na...ANGTv na!!! Nge!"

Cast members would shout "4:30 na, Ang TV na!" at the start of every episode.

Meanwhile, "Nge!" is the expression used by the cast after cracking jokes on the show.

Angelu wrote about the shoot, "We did something very special yesterday. Nagkitakita ang mga batang 90s. Walang pinagbago, makukulit pa rin.  #angtv #whereitallstarted #batang90s"

WHERE ARE THEY NOW? Aside from Angelu, the other Kapuso star who visited the grounds of ABS-CBN was Gio Alvarez. He is currently part of the action primetime series Alyas Robin Hood.

Both Angelu and Gio are freelance actors and are not tied up with any network.

Ang TV first premiered in 1992 as an afternoon gag show featuring the teens and kids of ABS-CBN Talent Center (now called Star Magic).

Throughout its run, the cast members of the show found themselves making different career moves.

For instance, Angelu left the show and transferred to VIVA and GMA-7 in 1994, helping her jumpstart her movie career.

In 1995, she got her big break on television when she top-billed the youth-oriented series TGIS.

In 1997, when Ang TV ended its run, Antoinette Taus and Lindsay Custodio also joined the Kapuso show TGIS and VIVA Artists Agency.

After leaving show business in 2002, Antoinette returned to the Philippines and signed up with Viva Artists Agency. She did TV shows with ABS-CBN and TV5.

This 2017, Antoinette returned to Star Magic and signed a management contract.

Meanwhile, Jolina remained a Kapamilya and was included in another teen show, Gimik. In 2002, she transferred to GMA-7 and stayed there until 2014.

Jolina returned to ABS-CBN in 2014. She is now being co-managed by Star Magic and PPL Entertainment, Inc.

Victor, Gio, and, Jan Marini became freelance actors and did different projects for both ABS-CBN and GMA-7.

Thou temporarily left showbiz but returned in 2008 via the teleserye I Love Betty La Fea.

Meanwhile, Guila, Lindsay, and Roselle are currently enjoying their life outside showbiz. They would do occasional guest appearances in ASAP whenever Star Magic celebrates its anniversary.

Some of the Ang TV teens who were not present during the special shoot were Claudine Barretto, Jay Manalo, and Rica Peralejo.

Ang TV also became the launching pad for celebrities such as John Prats, Camille Prats, Paolo Contis, Maxene Magalona, Katya Santos, and Angelica Panganiban.
