Tanya Garcia had a reunion with her Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga co-actors Angelu de Leon and Maricar de Mesa on January 12, 2018. Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga is a 2001 teleserye aired in GMA that starred Tanya and Dingdong Dantes.

Do you still remember GMA-7's romantic drama series Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga?

Dubbed as one of the earliest teledramas of the Kapuso network, the TV show was top-billed by Tanya Garcia and Dingdong Dantes. Back then, their tandem was one of the prime love teams of Channel 7.

The teleserye, which ran from December 2001 to April 2003, also featured Maricar de Mesa, Angelu de Leon, and Bobby Andrews.

Though it has been almost 15 years since the Kapuso teleserye aired its last episode, the female cast members of Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga have remained in touch with each other.

In fact, last Friday, January 12, Tanya, Maricar, and Angelu had a reunion with some production staff members of the teleserye.

Angelu posted some photos on her Instagram account.

She wrote in the caption, "Talking anything and everything under the sun. Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga peeps."

Also seen in the photo is GMA Senior Vice President for Entertainment Lilybeth Rasonable.

This is not the first time that the cast of Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga had a reunion dinner.

In August 2017, Tanya and Angelu also had a dinner with fellow Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga cast member Cheska Garcia.

Tanya and Angelu were also present during Maricar's baby shower in July 2017, together with other actresses Ara Mina, LJ Moreno, and Gina Alajar.

Coincidentally, Ara, LJ, and Gina were part of other GMA shows that aired along with Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga. Gina and LJ played important roles in Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin, while Ara was part of Kung Mawawala Ka.

@Maricar's baby shower. Can not wait to meet Sky soon. We love you! ????
