The lead stars of the Encantadia (2005) have maintained their friendship after all these years.
Yesterday, January 16, the original Sang'gres of GMA-7's 2005 fantasy series—Sunshine Dizon, Iza Calzado, Karylle, and Diana Zubiri—held a "ladies' night out" for their 2018 reunion dinner.
Sunshine posted a photo of them on her Instagram account.
She only wrote, "Its ladies night"
Diana also posted the same photo on her Instagram and used the hashtag: "#sanggresofmanila"
Sang'gre is a term in Encantadia language that means "royalty." The word also referred to the characters portrayed by the four girls.
However, it seems like this is not just an ordinary reunion dinner for the girls.
Encantadia director Mark Reyes was also present at the reunion dinner.
The caption of his Instagram post hinted that he is working on a project together with the four girls.
He wrote, "We’re really up to something now! #sanggres4ever #sanggresofmanila"
Direk Mark also tagged a woman named Georgette Tengco (in eyeglasses), who has Instagram posts about the latest offerings of a streaming service.
It also happens that Iza and Karylle are also business partners of the said streaming platform.
Of course, his post caused Encantadiks to show excitement about the upcoming project.
This is not the first time that the four actresses of Encantadia and Direk Mark met for the project.
Last August 2017, they already dropped hints that they are coming up with a special project soon.
Iza even wrote in one of her posts, "Sanggre Productions #coming soon"
