It's Showtime host Vice Ganda mentioned AlDub in the March 2 episode of the ABS-CBN variety show. Earlier today, March 7, the hosts of the show mentioned Alden and Maine when a studio audience named Maine became a contestant in It's Showtime's "Taga Saan Ka" segment.
Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards were mentioned on ABS-CBN's It's Showtime earlier today, March 7.
It's Showtime is the rival program of Eat Bulaga, where Maine and Alden's AlDub love team was conceived.
This happened during the "Taga Saan Ka" segment, where hosts choose members from the studio audience to perform the "Taga Saan Ka" dance for a cash prize.
Vhong Navarro and Billy Crawford were tasked to find contestants for the segment.
Billy found a contestant whose name is Maine. He told Vhong, "Eksakto, Kuys [short for Kuya]! May bumisita sa atin, si Maine!"
Vice Ganda shouted in response, "Welcome to Showtime, Maine!"
Amy Perez then laughed out loud and exclaimed, "Ang cute naman!"
When it was contestant Maine's turn to dance, she was welcomed by Karylle who quipped, "O, ito na, first time niya sa Showtime!"
Billy then asked, "First time mo, Maine? O, Maine, welcome!"
Vhong told Billy, "O, kamustahin mo naman si Alden!"
Audiences laughed out loud because of Vhong's punchline.
Billy then told him, "Hindi, ibang Maine 'yon!"

This is not the first time that the AlDub love team was mentioned on the Kapamilya program.
Last March 2, during the "Tawag ng Tanghalan" segment, Vice was lamenting about his love life.
Vhong believed that "may tamang panahon" for the man of his dreams.
Vice responded by asking, "Tamang panahon, parang AlDub lang?"
