Vice Ganda described one Tawag ng Tanghalan contender as a lookalike of GMA-7 actor Alden Richards.
Visayas contender Reggie Tortugo performed Bruno Mars' "Locked Out Of Heaven" during the March 17 episode of It's Showtime.
When Vice Ganda and Vhong Navarro interviewed Reggie after his song number, they teased him for being too stiff.
"Ang tipid-tipid mong gumalaw," admonished Vice Ganda. "Mas sumasayaw pa yung mga hurado sa iyo. Si Bruno Mars [mas sumasayaw]..."
They then asked Reggie to sing again but to add more dance moves.
The TNT contestant obliged and he received instructions from the comedians on how to loosen up on stage.
Vhong asked Reggie: "Nahihiya ka ba?"
Reggie admitted, "Medyo po."
Vice Ganda teased him by saying, "Sana hindi ka sumali."
The ABS-CBN host told him, "Kung ganyan ang talent mo, huwag kang mahiya.
Kailangan may Pia Wurtzbach-confidently beautiful [mindset ka].
Vice Ganda continued, "Cute ka pa man din. Meron kang Alden na itsura."
Alden Richards is a co-host of GMA-7's Eat Bulaga, the rival show of It's Showtime.
Vhong agreed by pointing out Reggie's left dimple. "Oo, may dimple kasi."
Vhong then contorted his face in an attempt to show a dimple but Vice Ganda bluntly told him, "Yung sa 'yo parang dimple ni Babalu."
Vice Ganda turned back again to Reggie and observed, "May Alden pero 'pag buo, Julius Babao."
Earlier this month, the Showtime hosts also mentioned the name of the GMA-7 host along with Maine Mendoza.
Maine and Alden were mentioned during the March 7 episode of It's Showtime.
Back then, Vhong teased a contestant who was named Maine: "O, kamustahin mo naman si Alden!"
Last March 2, Vice Ganda received advice that he will get the man of his dreams when it is "tamang panahon."
Vice responded by asking, "Tamang panahon, parang AlDub lang?"
Maine and Alden's AlDub love team was formed on Eat Bulaga, the Kapuso counterpart of It's Showtime.
