Robin Padilla once again incurred the wrath of netizens for a comment he made on Pilipinas Got Talent Season 6.
The ABS-CBN actor told contestant Kristel de Catalina, a single mom, that she needed a man in her life.
His misogynistic remark that is strongly prejudiced against women was slammed by netizens.
In the April 1 episode, Kristel performed a spiral pole dance number that left judges Vice Ganda, Angel Locsin, and Robin Padilla in awe.
Vice Ganda told Kristel: "Thank you so much because you saved the night. Lampaso yung kalaban. Nagmukha kang past winner na bumisita sa kanila ngayon.
"Yung galing mo parang ang kagandahan ko, ang linaw-linaw, hindi na kailangan i-prove.
"Sa buong season, isa ka sa mga pinakakinakakatakutan.
"Lalong nagpaganda pa yung symbolismo ng ginagawa mo. Pinapakita mo sa buong mundo na ikaw ay isang solo parent. Ikaw ay isang babae, at ang isang babae ay kayang umangat at magningning kahit nag-iisa.”
At that point, Robin told Kristel: “Pero kailangan mo pa rin ng lalaki.”
Vice Ganda clarified, "Para sa kanya yun, para kay Robin yun."
