Maja Salvador (left) doesn't blame Wildflower co-star Sunshine Cruz over her decision to transfer networks after the end of their series: "Ang sa akin, kung saan may work, do'n. Mas lalo na kay Ms. Sunshine, siya yung yung naghihirap para buhayin yung three kids niya."

Maja Salvador has nothing against the decision of her former Wildflower co-stars, Sunshine Cruz and Wendell Ramos, to transfer networks two months after the end of their ABS-CBN drama series.

“Siyempre, iba ang Kapamilya. Iba ang ABS-CBN,” Maja told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) during an endorsement event in Makati City.

“But, at the end of the day, hindi ko masisisi dahil—like, si Ms. Sunshine, single mom siya at kailangan niya mag-work, di ba? For sure, si Kuya Wendell, siya yung breadwinner, siya yung tatay.

“So, kung saan may work, di ba, do’n.”

It was revealed last week that Sunshine and Wendell both accepted offers from GMA-7.

Fellow Wildflower co-star, Aiko Melendez, also received an offer from the Kapuso network, but the actress remained with ABS-CBN to do prime-time series Bagani.

Maja continued, “Ang sa akin, kung saan may work, do’n.

“Importante na may trabaho tayong lahat… Mas lalo na kay Ms. Sunshine. Siya yung naghihirap para buhayin yung three kids niya.”

NEXT FILM PROJECT. After starring as Ivy Aguas and Lily Cruz in Wildflower, Maja takes a step back from revenge-driven plots and returns to doing romance films with her upcoming project, To Love Some Buddy.

The film revolves around two best friends who fell in love after college.

While its premise seems similar to the Maja-Paulo Avelino film, I’m Drunk I Love You, the Kapamilya actress was quick to point out their differences.

“Nakaka-in love, masakit. May drama din.

“Wala pa ako napapanood na—ako ha, ako wala pa ako napanood na awayan na lovers plus best friends.

“Parang mas mahirap 'yon, di ba?  Hindi lang isa nawala sa iyo. Dalawa.”

To Love Some Buddy marks her first team-up with fellow Kapamilya actor, Zanjoe Marudo.
