Ogie Diaz slams Suzette Doctolero; criticizes unrealistic CPR scene of Kambal Karibal

ABS-CBN actor/talent manager Ogie Diaz retaliated against GMA-7 headwriter Suzette Doctolero by pointing out the blooper made in Kambal Karibal.

A video clip from the #KKAgawBuhay episode of the Kapuso prime-time show became viral recently for showing an unrealistic CPR scene.

An extra who was portraying a female nurse pretended to do chest compressions on a patient but she barely pressed down on the chest of the patient and she jerked her shoulders in an effort to make the scene believable.

In his Facebook account, Ogie shared the Kambal Karibal clip and reminded Suzette of the dangers of criticizing someone else before checking one's own work.

Suzette is currently the creative consultant of Kambal Karibal.

Ogie poked fun at the way that the nurse tried to revive the patient by saying that she did a "pray over" instead of doing CPR correctly.

In an article published on PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) last April 20, Suzette criticized the way babaylans were depicted as reflected by the character of Dimples Romana.

The Kapuso headwriter was quoted as saying about the ABS-CBN fantaserye Bagani:

"As a Filipino, I really find it revolting and inappropriate the way this idiotic writer depicts the babaylans."

Ogie wrote on his Facebook account (published as is):

A Medicine student using the Twitter handle @whenpaulotweets also pointed out the incorrect way of doing CPR made the scene a laughing matter.

"#KKAgawBuhay uhmmm...sana ginawa man realistic yung pag CPR nung patient. Pwede naman i-ACTING ung ah. The looks of it si ate nurse na extra didnt revive the patient nag mukhang katawatawa ang scene #ACLS #CPR #KambalKaribal @KambalKaribal7"
