Former ABS-CBN contestants enter Top 62 of GMA-7's The Clash

Jasmine Fitzgerald, who was a finalist of ABS-CBN's Star In A Million, enters the Top 62 of GMA-7's The Clash.


The Top 62 finalists of GMA-7's The Clash have already been revealed.

The contenders—who are dubbed as the "Clashers"— were chosen through a series of auditions held all over the Philippines, mainly in Cebu, Baguio, Davao, and Metro Manila.

One of the clashers is 28-year-old Jasmine Fitzgerald, a former grand finalist of ABS-CBN's Star In A Million in 2004.

She was the wild card winner of the show's second season. However, Jasmine was the first to get eliminated in the Kapamilya contest.

In 2009, Jasmine did a solo album with VIVA Records and launched a single titled "Rewind."

Two finalists who auditioned for ABS-CBN's The Voice Teens are also part of the Top 62: Fatima Espiritu and Bryan Chong.

The full list of the Top 62 Clashers was posted by Kapuso PR Girl's Instagram account last June 9.

Hosted by Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez, GMA-7's singing competition will start airing on July 7.
