Jasmine Curtis-Smith is set to star in her first teleserye with GMA-7.
The former TV5 actress, who signed up as a Kapuso in April 2018, is included in the cast of the upcoming Kapuso teleserye Pamilya Roces.
A story conference was held earlier today, July 11.
Jasmine's inclusion in the series means that she won't be part of Alden Richards's Victor Magtanggol, contrary to rumors that came out in early 2018.
Miss Universe 1969 Gloria Diaz also makes a Kapuso comeback after eight years of working with ABS-CBN teleseryes.
The other cast members of Pamilya Roces are Carla Abellana, Gabbi Garcia, Rocco Nacino, Christian Bautista, and Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 Winwyn Marquez.
Former ABS-CBN actress Mika dela Cruz and former TV5 contract artist Shaira Diaz will also be part of the series.
Elizabeth Oropesa, Snooky Serna, and Roi Vinzon will complete the cast of this upcoming GMA Telebabad show.
In a previous interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Carla already revealed some details about her upcoming series, though she did not name any co-star nor did she mention the title.
She said, "Yung story ay tungkol sa family, may mga kapatid po ako ditong babae.
"'Tapos, kami pong magkakapatid na babae iba-iba po kami ng mother."
The upcoming series will be directed by Joel Lamangan, who also makes a comeback in directing teleseryes for GMA-7 after being with TV5 since 2012.
