After almost 20 years of being with GMA-7, Raymart Santiago is now with ABS-CBN.
The 44-year-old actor will play leading man to Judy Ann Santos in the upcoming teleserye Starla.
This was confirmed by Dreamscape Entertainment business unit head Deo Endrinal via his Instagram story yesterday, July 17.
On the "Ask A Question" feature of Instagram stories, Endrinal was asked who will be Judy Ann's leading man in her upcoming comeback series.
As an answer, he posted a photo of Judy Ann and Raymart during Starla's storycon and confirmed that the former Kapuso actor will be part of the series.
Endrinal also wrote, "Raymart Santiago is Judy Ann Santos's leading man in Starla."
It was first reported in PEP Alerts's PEP Troika column that Judy Ann's leading man will come from the Kapuso network.
Starla is Raymart's first project with ABS-CBN after working with GMA-7 for the past 19 years.
Raymart started his TV career as a Kapuso when he was cast as lead in the sitcoms Kool Ka Lang (1999-2003) and Lagot Ka, Isusumbong Kita (2003-2007).
In 2003, Raymart became one of Jolina Magdangal's leading men in the prime-time series Narito Ang Puso Ko.
In 2010, he played the lead role in the kiddie-fantasy series Bantatay.
