Maja Salvador explains absence in ASAP's Ang Probinsyano third anniversary number

Maja Salvador explained the real reason why she was unable to join Coco Martin and her former i cast members when they did a production number recently on ASAP.

All the leading ladies of Coco, except for Maja, were featured in the September 23 ASAP number. This grand production number marked the third anniversary of the Kapamilya prime-time series.

For this reason, fans used the hashtag #NasaanSiMaja as they tweeted their disappointment over her absence.

"Ang totoo nun, wala akong ASAP that Sunday," revealed Maja in an exclusive interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal).

However, she had to appear on ABS-CBN's noontime show because of her segment sponsored by a coffee brand.

"Naglambing yung ASAP kung pwede gawin ko na rin yung opening kasi opening tapos saka yung segment.

"Then after nun, ang dami na naming ganap. Nabuo na rin ng Probinsyano lahat."

Did she attend the Ang Probinsyano party for its third anniversary?

"May party sila pero may meeting ako ng 7. Natapos ako ng mga 12."

Maja the stressed that she has no "tampo" against Ang Probinsyano.

"But I have nothing against the unit [Dreamscape] and Probinsyano. Hindi lang nag-swak sa schedule."

Was she  aware about the production number?

"Oo, pero wala naman kasi talaga akong ASAP."

Will she be open to have her character SPO1 Glenda "Glen" Corpuz return to Ang Probinsyano?

"Paano babalik, may meeting na nga ulit?" she answered. Maja pointed out that she is already gearing up for her next big project.

However, she added that she is still willing to make a comeback to Ang Probinsyano.

"Basta kaya ng schedule. Siyempre, importante rin ang fans. Iba ang CocoJam," referring to supporters of her and Coco.

"Pag pwede na ang sked. Wala pa namang nagtatanong. Yung netizens lang ang nagsabi na ibalik."
