Michael V explains why he stopped being co-host in Eat Bulaga

Michael V answers a netizen who asked him if he ever considered switching networks.

Michael V recently used his vlog to discuss why he chose to remain with GMA-7 after all these years.

The GMA-7 TV host conducted a Q&A session wherein he picked questions from his fans and answered them in his YouTube video.

In his October 4 vlog entry, he answered a question from a netizen who asked if he ever considered switching networks and leaving the Kapuso Network.

Since having a network contract is still a prevalent practice in the entertainment industry, Michael V says he wants to stay in GMA Network where he enjoys creative freedom.

Most of the time kapag hindi ka pa nakakahanap ng reason huwag mo nang ipilit. Baka magkaproblema ka lang in the future.

Michael V also used his vlog explain why he stopped being a co-host of Eat Bulaga.

Through his vlog, the Bubble Gang star explained why he can no longer be seen on the GMA-7 noontime show Eat Bulaga.

The former Dabarkad admitted, "Nami-miss ko rin sila siyempre. Mayroong point in my life na sobrang kailangan kong gawin na dati Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays ako, naging Fridays and Saturdays na lang.

"Napakaliit na oras na lang ang mailalaan ko for them, nakakahiya namang magtrabaho nang ganun. And besides that time talagang kaputukan nung AlDub."

He was referring to the AlDub loveteam of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza.

"I think that was the perfect time for me to do something else, yung mga kailangan kong gawin para hindi nakakahiyang medyo hindi muna pumasok sa [Eat] Bulaga.”

He still receives invitations from Eat Bulaga to co-host but his busy schedule prevents him from returning to the show.

“From time to time tinatawagan pa rin ako ng Bulaga to host, it just happens na hindi lang talaga nagtutugma yung schedule, medyo busy pa rin. Pero open yung line namin ng [Eat] Bulaga, so no problem dun sa part na yun."

Michael V, the creative director of Bubble Gang, also got asked if he ever considered doing a dramatic role that would move viewers to tears.

He then disclosed that

"Yes, oo. Actually, may niluluto akong project kung mag-push through. Antayin niyo."
