Kaye Abad is set to return to television three years after her last project.
She is part of the upcoming ABS-CBN drama series Nang Ngumiti Ang Langit.
Kaye was present at the first taping day of the show today, October 19.
This serves as Kaye's acting comeback since she got married to Paul Jake Castillo in 2016. She relocated to Cebu to be with her husband.
In 2017, she gave birth to their firstborn son.
Her last TV appearance was in an episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya in 2015, where she was paired with former onscreen partner John Lloyd Cruz.
On her Instagram story, Kaye thanked RSB Drama Unit for welcoming her back to acting.
RSB Drama Unit is the production unit helming Nang Ngumiti Ang Langit.
This business unit also produced Kaye's last teleserye Two Wives, which aired from October 2014 to March 2015.
She wrote, "Thank you @RSBDramaUnit sa sa mainit na pag welcome sa akin."

Her role in Nang Ngumiti Ang Langit has yet to be announced, since she was not present during the October 5 story conference of the show.
Also part of the series are Cristine Reyes, RK Bagatsing, Enzo Pineda, and returning Kapamilya Keempee de Leon.
The show is directed by FM Reyes, who worked with Kaye in the shows Precious Hearts Romances: Alyna (2010) and Two Wives.
