Tonight’s PBB Otso episode was packed with a lot of events. It showcased the first nomination night, first eviction and the first Star Dreamer who was voted in by the public to become a new housemate.
The first nominees of Pinoy Big Brother Otso were Josh, Art and Lie. Among them, Josh got the most nomination points at 11, while Art got 7 and Lie received 4.
The 13-year-old Josh was nominated by every housemate, and they cited his laziness, unwillingness to participate in tasks and having lack of respect for his elders.
The 17-year-old Art got nominated by Jelay, Kaori, Karina, Seth and Lie. They said he was bossy, irritable, and boastful.
Lastly, the 15-year-old Lie got nominated by Art, Josh and Aljon. They said she was immature, a complainer and seemed like she was faking her jolly persona.
The public was given a short time to vote to save a nominee. After the voting has closed, it was announced that Josh received the lowest votes to save.
Josh only received 18.63% of the votes, Art got 20.37%, and Lie earned 61%.
The housemates became emotional as they bade goodbye to Josh. The young boy from Davao walked out the house teary-eyed, and got cheers from fans.
The reality show revealed who among Star Dreamers Rhys, Criza, Missy and Achilles got the most votes from the public. Criza topped the votes, so she became an official housemate and has moved to Bahay ni Kuya from Camp Star Hunt.
Here’s how the public voting went down for the Star Dreamers: Criza got 35.92%, Rhys earned 34.56%, Missy had 19.22% and Achilles only scored 10.31% of the votes.
The 14-year-old Criza showed determination and leadership skills in this week’s isaw selling challenge. Will the Apo of the Eye of Quezon City continue to shine as an official teen housemate? We’ll find in the next episodes.
Another twist was revealed before the episode ended. It turned out that even Camp Star Hunt would always retain eight Star Dreamers. And because Criza has left Camp Star Hunt, a new teenager was introduced: Kurt Gerona, an 18-year-old half-Spanish, half-Filipino lad from Bohol.
The Pilyo Gwapito ng Bohol wants to enter the PBB house to make his divorced mom proud.
Kurt is now in Camp Star Hunt and will compete with seven other Star Dreamers to become an official teen housemate.
