GMA-7's upcoming teleserye, Kara Mia, recently became hot topic on social media.
The show, which is top-billed by Barbie Forteza and Mika dela Cruz, features two lead characters that share the same body.

Some netizens started comparing their characters to Lord Voldemort, the main villain in the Harry Potter series.
In the first book, Voldemort used Professor Quirell by latching on to the back of the professor's head.

Some netizens made fun of the new show's concept while others described the show as "creepy," based on its trailer.
Others posted funny tweets about the show.
There were others who once again revived issues and criticisms about GMA-7's recently-aired fantasy shows.
Despite the negative feedback, there were other netizens who found the concept of the show interesting.
In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) on November 2018, Mika disclosed a few details about the new series.
She said Kara Mia will also depict folklore from the Philippines.
"Magshe-share kami ng one body at saka magshe-share kami sa mga love interests namin.
"It tackles yung mga folklore dito sa 'tin sa bansa, and very timely yung kwento. Magsu-shooting kami sa Bacolod. Sobrang excited ako, sobrang malaman noong role na nabigay sa akin, so paghahandaan ko siya."
In a conversation with PEP.ph, Kara Mia's program manager, Hazel F. Abonita, disclosed that they took inspiration from a real-life story about twins from another country who share the same body.
MIKA REACTS TO TWEETS
In a Twitter conversation with PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) yesterday, January 3, Mika gave her reaction to the tweets.
The 20-year-old actress admitted that they also found the concept "quite creepy" at first.
However, she believes that the unique story of Kara Mia will get viewers hooked on their show.
She wrote (published as is): "well sa totoo lang nakakaintriga naman kasi talaga and it also took us awhile to get used to the idea.
"we found it quite creepy also at first but when you go deeper into the story dun mo maaappreciate eh. it’s special, it’s unique at naniniwala akong makikita din nila yun hehe."
When it comes to the memes created by netizens, Mika wrote: "actually nakakaentertain naman ang mga posts nila napakacreative!"
Barbie has yet to share her reaction regarding the opinions of netizens about Kara Mia.
Kara Mia is one of the programs that GMA-7 will release this 2019.
According to the Kapuso network's omnibus plug for its new shows, Kara Mia is set to air this February on GMA's prime-time block.
