Dennis Trillo (left) is glad that Coco Martin liked his Instagram post about Cain at Abel.

Dennis Trillo admitted that it is hard for his new GMA-7 show, Cain at Abel, to defeat its rival program, FPJ's Ang Probinsyano, in terms of ratings.

Cain at Abel is Dennis's current TV show with GMA-7, which he shares top-billing with Dingdong Dantes.

According to Dennis, they already accepted from the start that it will be a challenge for them to win in the ratings game.

ABS-CBN's Ang Probinsyano, starring Coco Martin, has been getting good ratings since it aired in 2015.

Still, the network war and the competition in the ratings game don't seem to get in the way of the camaraderie of the lead actors of the show.

This was after FPJ's Ang Probinsyano lead star, Coco Martin, liked Dennis's Instagram post about Cain At Abel last November 19.

According to Dennis, he was surprised by Coco's gesture, especially since he did not even know that Coco was following him on Instagram.

Dennis, who also started his career with ABS-CBN, believes that these simple gestures prove that celebrities aren't affected with the so-called network war.

This is the reason why Dennis is happy to be part of the 2018 Metro Manila Film Festival entry, One Great Love, where he worked with Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu.

In the comments section of Dennis's post, Coco expressed his wish to work with the Kapuso actor.

Dennis said about this, "Sino ba namang ayaw, di ba?

PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) had an exclusive interview with Dennis during his PEP Live shoot last December 13 at 38 Valencia Events Place, Quezon City.

PAIRING WITH SANYA LOPEZ

Despite the challenge in the ratings game, Dennis is happy with the outcome of their TV show.

He admitted that he enjoys playing his character, the fugitive Elias.

"Doon sa show, laging intense, laging may takbuhan, habulan, may fight, suntukan, brawl.

Dennis is also amazed by how their directors, Don Michael Perez and Toto Natividad, handle the production.

Direk Toto, coincidentally, is a former director of FPJ's Ang Probinsyano. Cain at Abel is his first project with GMA-7.

Dennis said about their new director, "Okay siya, iba rin yung style niya, parang movie.

Dennis is also happy with his new leading lady, Sanya Lopez, who has been delivering an impressive performance as his wife.

The Kapuso actor said about Sanya, "Medyo pinapapbilib niya nga ako, e, kasi dun sa cast, siya yung medyo baguhan pa.
