Kristoffer Martin posts throwback photo showing Kathryn Bernardo when she was still part of the GMA-7 show Endless Love.

Remember when Kathryn Bernardo was still part of a GMA-7 show?

Kapuso actor Kristoffer Martin looked back on the time when he co-starred with Kathryn nine years ago.

On his Twitter account, Kristoffer posted a throwback photo featuring him and Kathryn Bernardo. He tweeted last January 23:

“So kumain kami sa resto dito sa Ilo-Ilo, sabi nung may ari, “welcome back sir”. Di ko maalala yung resto. Tapos pinakita yung picture ko dati. 2010 pa ata to juskooooo. Napakatotoy. Endless love days pa.”

Endless Love is the 2010 teleserye top-billed by Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera.

This throwback photo prompted his fans and followers to share their memories about the now defunct Kapuso show.

Endless Love is GMA's remake of the hit Koreanovela of the same name.

Kristoffer and Kathryn were cast as Johnny and Jenny, respectively, in the pilot week. Their characters grew up to be portrayed by Dingdong and Marian.

The young love team’s appearance of the show was a shock to hardcore Kapamilya viewers, since both were known to be Star Magic talents.

Coincidentally, on the same night that GMA-7 aired Endless Love, Kathryn was also seen on the pilot episode of ABS-CBN's Magkaribal.

In the Kapamilya prime-time series, Kathryn played the young Anna Abella, who would grow up to be Gretchen Barretto.

During the press conference for Endless Love, Kathryn was asked to name the character whom she shared more similarities with. She admitted back then, "Yung mas malapit po sa personality ko, siguro po yung dito sa Endless Love. Kasi po, simple 'tapos childish, parang gano'n din ako.”

In October 2010, ABS-CBN announced that Kathryn, along with Julia Montes, would top-bill the remake of Mara Clara. With that role, Kathryn achieved lead star status.
