Bakwit Boys star Vance Larena thanks ABS-CBN for his first teleserye project.

Vance Larena, known for his role in the indie film Bakwit Boys, is set to appear in his first major teleserye in ABS-CBN.

The actor joins the cast of Nang Ngumiti ang Langit, which brings together stars Cristine Reyes, Enzo Pineda, and RK Bagatsing.

The series is directed by FM Reyes under the RSB Drama Unit which has produced shows such as Halik and Araw Gabi.

Vance, who started as a theater actor, revealed to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) a bit of his character in the series.

Vance has yet to film a scene with Cristine Reyes, but the self-proclaimed fanboy has already worked with her beforehand.

"She is a great woman. Nakakatuwa kasi nagpapapicture naman siya kapag nagfa-fanboy ako,” he said.

Vance starred with Cristine in the 2017 film Spirit of the Glass, which was directed by Joey Reyes.

CERTIFIED KAPAMILYA

Vace recently made his acting debut in the Kapamilya Network through the weekly anthology show, Ipaglaban Mo.

When asked if he was exclusive to any network, Vance asserted that he was a Kapamilya.

He said, "[ABS-CBN] po talaga.

iWant is the digital streaming platform of the Kapamilya Network.

PEP.ph interviewed Vance at the preview screening of his latest project, FindHer, a YouTube mini-series about finding love in the digital era.
