JC Gamez was evicted in the March 3 episode of Pinoy Big Brother Otso after spending several days as an official housemate.
The eviction of the Mucho Raketero of Rome was predicted by some netizens as soon as the nominees for eviction were announced.
The 25-year-old Italian charmer's stay in the house was doomed because he was up against three top contenders in the house: Yamyam Gucong, Lou Yanong and Fumiya Sankai.
Instead of the normal nomination round, the nomination list was formed through several one-on-one challenges that happened throughout the week. The housemates that lost these challenges wound up on the eviction block.
JC lost his challenge to Hanie Jarrar, a new housemate who only crossed over from Camp Star Hunt last Sunday.
Yamyam, meanwhile, lost to Mark A. Then Lou succumbed to Mary Grace and Fumiya got defeated by Andre.
JC appears to have the least number of fans among the four nominees, because he also crossed over from Camp Star Hunt. He only because a housemate two Sundays ago, and that is not enough time to garner enough supporters.
On the other hand, Yamyam, Lou, and Fumiya all became housemates in the first week. They already proved that they have a multitude of followers when they survived the double eviction round last week, when they garnered double-digit vote results against evictees Wakim Regalado and Mitch Talao.
For this reason, it was predictable that the three once again got the same support in the public voting. Yamyam got the biggest share at 39.76%, then Fumiya earned 34.01%, and Lou received 21.2%. JC only had 5.03%.
ALJUR ENTERS THE CAMP.
Several surprise twists were revealed about Camp Star Hunt in this episode.
Instead of one, two Star Dreamers were chosen to cross over from Camp Star Hunt. They were Shawntel Cruz, a 24-year-old aspiring beauty queen, and Thea Rizaldo, a 22-year-old accounting graduate.
Then a surprise addition to Camp Star Hunt was introduced.
It was actor Aljur Abrenica, who said that he accepted the challenge because he does not back down from anything. He also told host Toni Gonzaga that he said goodbye to wife Kylie Padilla and their baby Alas before heading to PBB.
Aljur will be part of Camp Star Hunt as a celebrity star player.
The former GMA-7 actor won the title of Ultimate Hunk when he joined StarStruck IV in 2006.
Now a Kapamilya, will Aljur play a role in the upcoming Military Week challenge of PBB Otso?
Big Brother announced that there will be a Pinoy Big Battle.
The Star Dreamers will compete against the official housemates in a series of challenges.
If the official housemates win, none of them will be evicted.
If the contenders from Camp Star Hunt will win, one of them will cross over to become an official housemate.
Before the episode ended, it was disclosed that Lou Yanong and Andre Brouillette (the love team dubbed as Loudre) did something during a controversial pool party.
