ABS-CBN’s newest program, Wansapanataym, charmed viewers during its pilot episode last Saturday, September 11, allowing it to land the No. 1 spot in the nationwide ratings results. Its pilot episode garnered a 31.9% rating versus GMA-7’s Kaya ng Powers, which registered a rating of 15.5% based on data from Kantar Media.
Melissa "Melai" Cantiveros brought life to Inday Bote for Wansapanataym’s initial offering. For its second part this Saturday, September 18, more magical scenes are yet to be revealed. "Naku dapat nila abangan dito ang pagka-fluent ko sa English," says Melai with a laugh.
Wansapanataym offers a lighthearted story that will air for two consecutive Saturdays on ABS-CBN. After the story of Inday Bote concludes this weekend, another Inday aims to put smiles on viewers’ faces: Inday Balitaw, topbilled by Maja Salvador starting September 25. She will be paired with Matteo Guidicelli in this TV series, which is inspired by Maricel Soriano’s 1986 movie Inday-Inday sa Balitaw.
"She is amazing. I’ve worked with her. She is the sweetest thing. She is so beautiful. She is so talented. I wish I could work with her again," said Matteo about his leading lady in a previous interview with PEP. (CLICK HERE to read related article)
