Green Rose slated to end after airing for three months on ABS-CBN


ABS-CBN’s adaptation of Green Rose, starring Anne Curtis (in photo), Alessandra de Rossi, Jericho Rosales and Jake Cuenca, will end on May 27, 2011.


PRESS STATEMENT FROM ABS-CBN:

"After unraveling the exciting twist and turns, Green Rose finally reached its finale week. The popular Koreanovela remake has yet to put justice on the chronicles of each character as its reveals the verdict on its remaining episodes.

"All for a full blast finale week, the Green Rose lead cast members Jericho Rosales, Jake Cuenca, Alessandra de Rossi and Anne Curtis untangle their intertwined stories in the hit teleserye. With their exceptional acting prowess showcased in the show, they are sure to fire up an explosive conclusion this week.

"In an interview with Echo (Jericho’s nickname), he proudly expressed his gratitude in working with the entire production team, "This is really one of my most memorable projects, it was really a privilege na makatrabaho yung buong cast and crew ng Green Rose." Taking from the series per se, the leading man has then again proved that his acting skills is worthy of the international entertainment scene.

"Anne added, "I hope that this will not be the last project na magkakasama kami ni Echo and Jake. They are both great actors and sobrang nag-enjoy ako working with those two incredible actors. I’m really looking forward sa mga susunod pang projects na kasama sila."


"On a further note, Jake Cuenca remarkably played an outstanding role as the third party on the love story. Evidently, his acting flair was brought to the next level as seen week after week.
