PRESS STATEMENT FROM GMA-7:
"GMA-7’s Munting Heredera scored its highest ratings performance so far last Friday, June 10, with a remarkable 39.3 percent household share, enough to clinch the top spot in the over-all primetime race on that night. This figure is based on the latest Mega Manila ratings data from more recognized ratings supplier, Nielsen TV Audience Measurement.
"Further, the program registered an average household share of 37.6 percent for the period of June 6 to 10, 5.1 share points higher than its competitor’s 32.5 percent. It also reigned over Total Urban Luzon, which accounts for 77 percent of total television households nationwide, with 36.4 percent average household shares, while its rival program trailed behind with 33 percent.
"Munting Heredera stars talented newcomer Mona Louise Rey, who plays the lead role of Jennifer, the true heiress to Doña Ana’s (played by Gloria Romero) wealth. Aside from Ms. Gloria Romero, it also stars Roderick Paulate, Mark Anthony Fernandez, Camille Prats, Katrina Halili, among others. The program also introduces two other child stars Barbara Miguel and Kyle Daniel Ocampo.
"As the weeknight drama continues this week, Calilla (Barbara Miguel) shifts the blame to Jennifer (Mona Louise Ray) after results of the investigation reveal that the fire started from the mansion’s kitchen. Lynette, despite knowing the truth, supports her daughter Calilla’s claims and influences Jacob (Mark Anthony Fernandez) into throwing Jennifer out of the mansion. Doña Ana (Gloria Romero) tries to appease his grandson but to no avail. Meanwhile, Manny meets a grumpy old lady and develops an unlikely friendship with her.
"These and more await viewers in Munting Heredera, which airs right after Amaya, on GMA Telebabad."
