Shamcey Supsup wants Piolo Pascual to be her leading man in the future

Venus Raj (left) welcomed Shamcey Supsup (right) during the September 25 episode of ASAP Rocks. Both of them are former candidates of Miss Universe: Venus competed in 2010 while Shamcey represented the Philippines in 2011.

Last Sunday, September 25, ASAP Rocks opened with an Asian theme that featured martial arts from around the region.

Sarah Geronimo, Toni Gonzaga, Gary Valenciano, Luis Manzano, Sam Milby, Anne Curtis and Venus Raj wore colorful costumes for their opening number. Luis Manzano bared his abs by going topless while Sam wore a sando and showed off his arnis moves. Gary V brandished a sword while wearing a red samurai-inspired outfit. Toni G, Sarah G and Anne looked lovely in their Chinese-inspired flowing robes while Venus Raj soared above the audience for the grand finale.

Another actor who was lifted up in the air was Sam Concepcion, who donned his costume as Peter Pan.

Another highlight of the episode was Sarah Geronimo’s performance of the tango with the G Force.

The September 25 episode also marked the birthday celebration of young actress Maja Salvador and acoustic performer Aiza Seguerra.

Garbed in skimpy black hot pants and a sexy top with blue and black frills, Maja gyrated with energy and spunk together with G-Force in a hot production number. The actress-dancer will turn 23 on October 5. She profusely thanked her friends, sponsors and especially her fans.

Aiza’s birthday celebration was sort of a "reunion" with former colleagues Senator Tito Sotto, "Bossing" Vic Sotto and funnyman Joey de Leon. In a taped interview, the popular comedy trio expressed their wishes for Aiza, who celebrated her birthday last September 17.

Vic started off by telling her: "Miss Aiza Kabisote. Di nila alam ikaw ay seryoso kang tao. Ikaw ay seryoso sa iyong ’Smurf village.’ Sana naman ay mabigyan mo ako ng regalo kahit patent lang pwede na sa akin."

Tito Sotto, on the other hand, expressed his desire for the young singer-actress to have a child. He said, "Di pa rin ako nawawalan ng pag-asa. Sayang ang ganda mo. Baka sakaling magbago pa ang isip mo. Ikaw ay makakatulong sa pagparami ng magagaling kumanta."

Joey humorously stated his message in a poem. "Ayoko sa Libya / Ayoko sa gera / Ayoko sa Afganistan / Ayoko sa Iraq / Gusto ko sa ASAP / May Aiza Seguerra!"

The former child star was visibly amused by the messages from her friends. Her ASAP family also took the time to show a VTR of her photos chronicling her journey in showbiz. It will be recalled that Aiza grew up with the TVJ since she was discovered in the Little Miss Philippines contest of Eat Bulaga!

Aiza’s fellow ASAP sessionistas, Richard Poon, Duncan Ramos, Princess and Juris then rendered some songs for her. Richard sang his own version of "Raggamuffin Girl" while Princess performed "Always". The popular ’80s hit song "Dying Inside" was performed by Juris while Duncan sang "Informer."

Special guest Miss Universe 2011 3rd Runner-Up, Shamcey Supsup, took center stage as the noontime show came to an end. The beauty queen earned her degree in Architecture, graduated magna cum laude from the University of the Philippines and topped the 2010 Architect Licensure Examination.

During the recently concluded Miss Universe pageant at Sao Paolo, Brazil last September 12, she impressed the judges with her lovely figure, elegant allure and intelligence.

Shamcey donned an elegant orange dress with glittery accents and walked with grace as she was introduced.

As she made her grand entrance, the statuesque beauty was serenaded by Sam Milby, Luis Manzano and Jericho Rosales who sang "Can’t Take My Eyes Off You."

While being serenaded by the three, Shamcey walked around and radiantly smiled at the audience. After their song number, Sam asked the beauty queen to name the actor whom she would want to have as her leading man.

Luis jokingly asked her to choose from among him, Jericho and Sam. To this, Shamcey teasingly remarked, "Ikaw na ’yon Luis."

Jericho then asked the beauty queen, "What is your message to all the Filipinos watching the show?" Shamcey pointed out that she is very grateful for the overwhelming support. "Hanggang ngayon po sobra akong masaya, di ko ma-describe kahit pag-uwi ko sa bahay. Grabe sa support. Grabeng happiness. Thank you po sa support. Until now, tapos na po ang Miss Universe, hanggang ngayon nandiyan ang support ninyo at pagmamahal. Thank you po sa lahat."
