Maja Salvador: “Wala akong inagawan, at wala akong inagaw!”

Maja Salvador on pursuing her relationship with Gerald Anderson: “Ang ipaglaban ang pagmamahal na di mo naman alam [kung mag wo-workout], that’s the bravest thing I ever did... Kung pinaninindigan ka naman, ba’t di mo rin panindigan?”

“Wala akong inagawan, at wala akong inagaw,” a brave and honest Maja Salvador tells Cosmopolitan Magazine, where she is the cover girl for July.

In a revealing interview, the actress, who has kept mum ever since the controversy on her relationship with Gerald Anderson and tiff with former BFF Kim Chiu broke out early this year, talks to the magazine extensively about love, friends, betrayal, and staying positive despite the rumors and negativity that hound her.

“Ayoko na na i-defend ang sarili ko, o i-klaro kung ano ang tingin ng tao sa akin…

“Alam ko naman sa sarili ko ang totoo at hindi mo mape-please lahat ng tao. Ang mga tao ngayon, kung ano ang nasa isip nila, hindi mo iyon mababago.”

The actress also dished about how she and Gerald fell in love, and why she fought for their relationship even if it meant she’d bear the anger of fans—and her bestfriend.

“Ang ipaglaban ang pagmamahal na di mo naman alam [kung mag wo-workout], that’s the bravest thing I ever did,” she shares.

“Kung pinaninindigan ka naman, ba’t di mo rin panindigan?”

Maja also spoke to Cosmo about Kim Chiu, the best friend she no longer talks to, breaking the silence she says all this time came from her desire to protect whatever was left of her friendship.

But Maja insists, “Kim has always known from the beginning what was happening.”

10 YEARS IN SHOWBIZ. Now celebrating her 10th year in showbiz, Maja is simply stoked about the future, and what it’ll bring.

“Fourteen years old palang ako, ang layo na ng problema ko sa ibang teenagers.

“Kung bakit ako [matatag] ngayon, dahil iyon sa napagdaanan ko,” she says with a smile.

“Ngayon palang nag-iinit ang lahat. Nagsisimula palang ako.”
