The indie film Bente had a red-carpet premiere at the Podium last July 2, 2009. Stars of the film and filmmakers graced the event, which served as the culmination of the Sine Direk film series produced by APT Entertainment and the Directors Guild of the Philippines. Bente, the sixth entry of Sine Direk, will open in select SM and Robinsons cinemas starting July 8, 2009.
