Last June 16, Freeway launched the third collection in its National Artist Collector's Series. After honoring literary genius Nick Joaquin and esteemed painter Ang Kiukok, the local fashion brand is now recognizing Jose Garcia Villa's magical poetry for this season's collection.
The launch was held at the Legarda Elementary School in Manila, where the audience was treated to a tertulia, a social event that features poetry reading and other cultural presentations.
Guests included actress Cherie Gil, Hale frontman Champ Lui-Pio, TV host Tim Yap, poet Ms. Virginia Moreno, and Villa's favorite niece Ruby Villanueva Priscilla.
