It 1999, Jeremy Gilley launched Peace One Day with one mission: to document his efforts to establish the first-ever annual day of global ceasefire and non-violence with a fixed calendar date.
This is the second year of Peace One Day in the Philippines. According to the organizers, we are the only country out of the 192 UN countries to include orphans in celebrating the event.
The event was held last Sunday, September 26, at the AFP ASCOM Football Field in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig.
