Quezon City and Puerto Princesa City team up for their commitment to protect the environment and support ecotourism and its development.
A press conference was held last June 1 at the Multipurpose Hall of the Quezon Memorial Circle in Quezon City to announce the merger.
The event also announced Quezon City's support for Puerto Princesa Underground River's bid to the New 7 Wonders of Nature list.
