Dance Dance Revolution addicts flocked at the Market!
Market! Activity Center in The Fort, Taguig, for the grand finals of the first Timezone Supernova
Challenge last Friday, October 26.
The in-arcade competition introduced representatives from participating Timezone branches, who showed their agility and their skills in the feet-thumping game.
Also present during the event were Paw Diaz and Joross Gamboa who tried the Dance Dance Revolution Supernova. Joross is a self-confessed player of the game, particularly during his younger years. "Naglalaro ako noong mga unang Dance Dance Revolution, medyo yung kapanahunan ko," said Joross, who was still catching his breath after playing one round.
When asked about the difference of the old version with the newest version, Joross replied, "Ngayon mas marami na ang kanta, mas marami na ang pagpipilian."
Three winners were selected among the participants: Francis Concepcion of SM San Lazaro, Paulino Gulado of Gateway Mall, and Edmark Cadacio of Glorietta.
Each of them received a trophy and gift certificates from Electronics and Timezone. On the other hand, non-winners did not go home empty-handed because Timezone also prepared gift packs as consolation prizes.
Before the show ended, Timezone President Raffy Prats happily announced that Timezone bought two machines of Dance Dance Revolution Supernova 2. However, these machines will only be available at Metro Manila branches.
