Award-winning and veteran director Maryo J. delos Reyes, in one of his last conversations with his entertainment press friends, recalls the time when Superstar Nora Aunor tried to stop a horde of her fans from crashing into the gate of a movie theater.
This was during the premiere of Annie Batungbakal in 1979, which starred Aunor and directed by delos Reyes.
Direk Maryo J died last night, January 27, after suffering a heart attack while in a party with a friend in Dipolog City.
