Filipino rock band Kamikazee held its last bar gig on Monday night, September 28, at 12 Monkeys Music Hall
An Instagram post by @pinedajason, which was also reposted on Parokya Ni Edgar's Facebook fanpage, showed Parokya vocalist Chito Miranda hugging Kamikazee vocalist Jay Contreras.
In the photo, Jay is crying on Chito's shoulder.
The caption of the photo said: "Emosyonal na huling bar gig kagabi sa @12monkeysph #kamikazeehulingsayaw #HulingSayaw
The hashtag also signified that it will be the last show of the band in the said venue.

The band Parokya ni Edgar has called Kamikazee as its “sister band.”
According to Kamikazee’s Twitter account, the band will hold its very final show in December. However, there are no details yet regarding the concert.

Last January, the band announced its disbandment because its members – Jay, Jomal Linao, Led Tuyay, Jason “Puto” Astete and Allan “Bords” Burdeos – wanted to explore their own lives outside the band.

The band was first formed in the year 2000 but they rose to fame after the smash hit of their original composition “Narda” in 2006.
