After signing a contract with GMA last week, Inah De Belen is set to topbill an upcoming afternoon soap in GMA titled Oh My Mama.
It was previously announced during her contract signing that she will co-star with Kapuso male actors Jake Vargas and Jeric Gonzales.
The story conference for this new afternoon teleserye happened yesterday, August 15.
Also included in the cast are Gladys Reyes, Ryan Eigenmann, Epy Quizon, Eunice Langusad, and Arthur Solinap.
Award-winning teen actress Teri Malvar, who was honored in different award-winning bodies abroad, will also be a part of this series.
The show serves as Inah's first full-length teleserye, despite starring in different Wattpad Presents episodes in TV5, which only ran for a week.
Before signing a contract with the Kapuso network, Inah (who previously used the screen name Inah Estrada) was an artist of ABS-CBN. She has starred in different episodes of drama anthologies Maalaala Mo Kaya and Ipaglaban Mo.
She also did a month-long episode of Wansapantaym titled "Witchamakulit" with Miles Ocampo and Benjie Paras.
Prior to this, Inah started her showbiz career in 2005 when she hosted the teen-oriented infotainment show Candies aired in GMA's defunct channel QTV.
No airing date has been announced yet for Oh My Mama.
