Instead of starring in a TV remake of Cofradia, Julia Barretto will topbill an original fantaserye titled Mira Bella.
Last May, Julia was formally introduced to the press as the lead star of Cofradia, wherein her character was supposed to change her image through a magical candle.

However, Julia will no longer be doing Cofradia since she is now cast as the lead character in Mira Bella.
The story conference and look test of Mira Bella took place earlier today, July 11.
Julia will have two love interests in this series: Diego Loyzaga and Kiko Estrada.
Just like Julia (who is the daughter of Dennis Padilla and Marjorie Barretto), Diego and Kiko also have showbiz connections because of their parents. Diego is the son of Cesar Montano and former actress Teresa Loyzaga while Kiko is the son of politician-actor Gary Estrada and actress Cheska Diaz.
Julia's fellow Star Magic Batch 2013 member, Liza Soberano, will also be part of this upcoming fantasy series.
As Mira Bella, Julia's character is cursed and she grows up under the care of John "Sweet" Lapus and Pokwang.
Mylene Dizon and Gloria Diaz are also part of this upcoming series.
Taping for Mira Bella is slated to begin next week. This fantaserye is directed by Jerome Pobocan and Erick Salud.
